• FCL- Self Loading

If you wish to load your own container, Kronos Shipping will arrange to have the container dropped off at your  desired location anywhere in the United States. Containers are typically available for 1-5 days and will be picked up at a predetermined time of completion. Shippers are responsible for the loading of the container and securing all the items inside. For shippers located in the Midwest, additional help may be provided using our experienced moving staff.

Please note, shippers are responsible for checking with the local authorities to ensure the legality of parking a container on the street or in their driveway. Any damages that occur to items inside the container also fall on the shipper’s responsibilities. A detailed, itemized loading list must be provided prior to the pick-up of the container. In the case of an automobile, all titles and necessary paperwork must be provided before the container can be delivered.

• FCL- Warehouse Loading

If loading a container is not possible in your area, shippers are welcome to either bring their items to our warehouse for consolidation, storage, and professional loading or arrange to have them picked up by our  professional employees. All items brought to our warehouse will be prepared for shipment and stored in our secured warehouse until the time of shipment. All containers loaded in the warehouse must only be done by our trained professionals. In addition, the loading dock at the warehouse allows for easy loading and unloading of automobiles, secure bracing for motorcycles, and expert packing that minimizes wasted space. Due to insurance stipulations, shippers are not allowed inside the loading area during this time and additional fees may apply for more complicated shipments.

• LCL- Warehouse Loading

All LCL shipments are received, stored, and shipped at the Kronos Shipping facilities. Items may be dropped off by the shipper or delivered by courier following prior notice. Pick-up services are available to customers located near the Chicago land area for large or small shipments.
